Women's Equality Party — #WeCount
An estimated 400,000 sexual offences occur on Britain’s streets every year, yet only 1 in 10 women come forward to report their experiences for fears over safety and prejudicial treatment. We needed to raise awareness of the problem and put this serious issue - and women’s rights - back on the map.
We created #WEcount - a powerful suite of digital tools that allow women to report and speak out against sexual violence on the social platforms in which they are most active and give them the ability to reclaim their streets using interactive mobile technology.
